Porkins, Solo, Antilles: A regenerating 3X list

I was playing around with X-wing pilots and put this together:

Jek Porkins, Stay on Target, R5D8: 31

Luke Skywalker, Lone Wolf, R2D2: 34

Wedge Antilles, Predator, R5-P9: 35

Jek and Luke are there as anti-swarmers: Jek because he can weave around them, Luke because they bounce off of him.

Wedge helps take out hard targets, and Jek and Luke won't suck at that either.

You'll want to kill Wedge right off the bat, but if this trio can trade Wedge for an opposing big gun, it's going to be incredibly hard to take down Luke in the end. Anytime someone doesn't die, they can make a run for it to regenerate. I think its main weakness is that none of the ships except Luke are probably really tough enough to handle a big damage turn, so then no chance to regenerate. This probably kills it in competitive play (like any 3X list).

I like the list purely for the use of Porkins. Any good stories with using him so far?

I've tried some 3x lists before. They are over costed. However you've dealt with one problem: sustainability is helped here a lot by a decent build choice.

Your other problem will be mobility and lack of red dice still.

Focus firinghg any X will also deplete 1/3 of your list. Wedge is the easiest and obvious target. That regeneration won't help him in a real competitive match.

Also have you played against a tie swarm flown well? You'll be blocked and controlled and blast right off the field. No offense but few things go up well against a blocking tie swarm. I reckon your lists chances at only 30 to 20% and that's based off some lucky one shots or howl deaths.

Honestly I'd just go for hull on wedge.

Luke's ability is good but won't save him from concentrated fire. Just try the die rolling yourself.
