I'm sure there's a million other people out there who are doing this or are planning on doing it.
Here's my crack at it!

Love this. Mad props for painting it and posting it so quickly after the trailer dropped.

To me, Nuln Oil is almost an autoinclude on any X-Wing repaint.
Ya pretty much. It's one of the best and handy Citadel shades that they have available.
WOW! such a great job
Great job Elusive! Looks even better as in the trailer...
But, am I the only one that is not liking the inverse paint scheme?

Thanks. Also, I obviously liked it enough to repaint a TIE, so... ![]()

I'm not a huge fan of the paint scheme in the trailer but love it on Elusive's repaint!
Edited by HaedrinGuess we won't need to paint anymore TIE/LNs as TIE/FOs after December 2015.
Very nicely done mate.
I sooooooo wish i had an air brush.
That white panel look has grown on me a little I guess...
The white panels really make the TIEs stand out. Highlights them well.

I didn't use an airbrush since I don't own one (maybe one day in a galaxy far far away I will...)
So you should be ok if you try brush painting a First Order TIE Fighter yourself!

Though it will be interesting to put a player painted TIE/FO next to an FFG version for comparison once we can get out grubby little paws on them

I think the majority of the player painted TIE/FOs will look just as good if not better than the factory painted ones since many of us like to add little details and personalizations to them.
I'll be sure to update this thread with some pictures of a comparison when they eventually get released since that's a cool idea.
