Cylons on New Caprica

By ninjamatic3000, in Battlestar Galactica

I have a couple of questions from our first Pegasus game:

#1: Do Cylons on NC draw crisis cards on their turns? The rules say something like "during a player's draw crisis card step, draw from the NC crisis deck." Am I correct that, since revealed Cylons don't get a "draw crisis" step on their turns, they don't draw crises except by activating Breeder's Canyon? I think I'm right, but the "a player" reference, rather than "a human player" threw me a bit.

#2: Do Cylons on NC still only contribute 1 skill card to checks? I thought I saw somewhere that they contribute 2 on NC, but can't find the reference now. (As I type this, I realize that I may be thinking of Detention vs. the Brig)

1) You are correct :)

2) I believe you read the part about cylon leaders. They are allowed to throw two cards into a skill check while infiltrating regardless of whether they are on NC or Galactica. This may also be what confused you about question one. While infiltrating, the cylon leader is essentially a human player and will draw crisis cards on both NC and Galactica.
