Well, most recently, and most recognizably, it was Luke's saber from Episodes 4-5. Vader's latest saber was similar, but still pretty different.

Most notably, THATS A SUPER STAR DESTROYER in the trailer:

Fairly sure that's the back end of the junked ISD at the start.

EDIT: You're right, that IS an SSD's back end. Top down in the dirt. (the changes to the post-Yavin canon suggests strongly that the Executor is NOT the first of its class so it's probably not an Executor class any more)

I'm sorry, but he's clearly talking to R2D2. Because R2D2 obviously has the force, and is a new type of Jedi. Making sure R2D2 sided with the Republic is how they kept the Droid armies from being victorious.
