So I don't know exactly how much they are going to show but Starwars,com says Verizon is live streaming the opening panel as well as several other events. Maybe they'll show X-wing stuff. I'm doubtful that'll make the cut for their live stream but you never know. These are the links directly from Starwars,com.If anyone finds another that is streaming feel free to post or pm it and I'll add it to the OP so no one has to hunt for it. Thanks!

Yeah, I don't have the foggiest idea how they did that.

But seeing it live...just...dang, JJ, mad props. Could have just as easily done it entirely in CGI...indeed, probably a lot easier. But, nope...practical model.

I'd guess gyro-stabilizers and magnetics, but apparently it's a pioneering new tech. Maybe someday we'll have ball-wheeled cars using the same tech...
