Jendon with Autothruster Alphas

I am playing a store 100 pt tourney this weekend. This was the list I was thinking of playing:

LAMBDA-CLASS SHUTTLE: · Colonel Jendon (26)

Ion Cannon (3)

Enhanced Scopes (1)

Tactical Jammer (1)

Weapons Engineer (3)

Fleet Officer (3)

TIE INTERCEPTOR: Alpha Squadron Pilot (18)

Basic idea being to use shuttle as cover as much as possible, and to let Jendon pass locks for offense and focus for defense. Ints will be spreading fire arcs around and taking evade.

I played my buddy against Dash and Cheque loaded up to various degree. I had him down to 3 hull on one and 2 on the other. My only damage was a one shot kill against one of my ints. We ran out of time to finish the game.

Thoughts?

imo the shuttle has the perfect upgrades right now, you could argue that IC < than AdS as your lambda will have more dial options...

I like the plan on paper but in my experience it will fail most of the times because by spamming them with a sinergy PS0 Shuttle you are telling me where will your guns be pointing every turn.

I've taken Alpha+Autotrusers as a 3rd cheap ship alongside two major threats and it worked well as it draws hate away from other ships and by maintaining R3 it can survive long enough to be worth of a 5th of your squad.

Why not go with something like:

Colonel Jendon — Lambda-Class Shuttle 26
Advanced Sensors 3
Fleet Officer 3
ST-321 3

(Use Adv. Sensors for Fleet Officer, then perform a green maneuver to clear the stress).


Avenger Squadron Pilot — TIE Interceptor 20
Autothrusters 2

Just for the PS 3.

Or keep them as Alpha's and get 5 points to play around with.
