The Black Riders - Khamul the Easterling missing?

By Chris51261, in The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game

Has anyone received their copies of the Nightmare Black Riders yet? I just did today and my copy of Khamul the Easterling is missing, just wondering if anybody else had the same thing happen?

If it's missing - report to the customer support ASAP so they can ship you a replacement, regardless of anybody else lacking him too or not.

Yeah I did, just wanted to make people aware. At least he was spoiled prominently so I can proxy him in.

By the way, have you had much experience with customer service? I have a few cards with minor flaws (discolored lines running through them), and am wondering how major a defect has to be to get a replacement. Should I just go for it?

I certainly don't speak for FGG, but their business model requires that they take product and customer support very seriously. They are in a very niche market with customers that have high quality expectations. Frankly, it's really easy to lose customers in this very competitive market.

I've only ever had outstanding results with FFG's customer service and only ever heard the same from others. My specific case was when I ordered something from their webstore and nearly 2 weeks went by without it being shipped. I called, they resolved it, and gave me next-day shipping for free.

My point here is, yes, you should contact FGG about these minor flaws. I'm not sure what their threshold for replacement is, but it's worth a try. At the very least, there is someone at FFG that who manages manufacturing quality and they will want to know about your situation.

Never had replacements for LotR, but had it for several other games. If it bothers you really - go for it.

Okay, cool, thanks guys. I'll see where it goes.

mine has it - it's the first card in the set, actually (#2, if you don't count the setup card).
