Anyone ever done this before? I have the older HD hero 2 and I'm thinking about filming some with the camera. Not sure how it's going to turn out. Anyone have any tips or advice to give me. Also what video editing software do you guys use and how do you get the action tokens and pilot cards uploaded. Thanks in advance for your help!

Yup, just buy the tripod mount accessory for GoPro and it should work. I don't really edit the video besides use AVIdemux to join the videos and such. I think the Outer Rim Smugglers guys can help you with the video editing portion. I use the HERO 1 and the HERO 3 for my videos.

Yes, you should strap it to your head (I'm serious), I think a POV batrep would be really interesting, we'd actually get to see the game through the eyes of the person playing it, it would be a lot more immersive.

I like it, although the fish eye lens hurts the quality and I think is unnecessary. I think with a normal lens it would be really good and you'd be able to more closely see what is going on just like if you were playing.
