I just bought the base set and have played two games now. It's frakkin awesome. I got the pegasus expansion too now and will incorporate it in soon. i have a couple of questions about the base set. 1. can the admiral launch nukes from any location or does he have to use the fire control location. 2. when a crisis card shows a cylon ship set up and all base stars are already on the board do you have to move them to correspond to the new locations shown on the card or do you leave them where they were placed last time. 3 when the admiral chooses one destination card from the top two cards of the deck does he do this in secret, revealing one card and putting the other card unseen by the other players to the bottom of the deck? 4. we played a 4 player game with gias baltar as one character. so we included an extra not a cylon card and a sympathiser card. after the sleeper phase one more card was dealt to each player. this left a spare loyalty card. is this correct. thanks (sorry about the format of this entry but my return/enter key seems to be not working on my laptop.

1. The Admiral can launch nukes from any location.

2. You leave them where they were.

3. That's right.

4. In a 4 player game with Baltar the deck should be 1 Cylon card, 1 Sympathizer, and 7 Not A Cylon Cards. The Sympathizer goes in after initial loyalty cards are dealt.

For #4 did you remember to deal an extra loyalty card to Baltar? He's supposed to get 2 at the start of the game, so you shouldn't have any cards left over at the end.
