Finally Finished!

By diaper, in Battlelore

So,

I bought Battlelore the week it hit the stores here in Sweden, two and a half - or is it three?- years ago.

I fell in love with the game at once and soon bought my second base game to be able to play epic , and then I bought every expansion as soon as it came out.

I remember a gamer freind telling me "you know, this is a cool game, but you are going to have to paint it". To which I replied something about how being a gamer is not the same as being a total geek...

Now, almost two years after that moment, i have the last 40 painted dwarf figures standing on the desk before me. Later this afternoon I´m going to give them a few coatings with a clear spray to protect them, but then I´m done!

That is fantastic! That is a lot of figures. Way to go.

cool!

we need pictures!

How do people store their painted miniatures?

I use fishing tackle boxes for my unpainted.

If they were painted I would be afraid that they would get all chipped up,

That's great! It is like a calming addiction. Congratulations.

I finally gave into the geekness and started painting in July. I am about to complete the blue infantry now just have some small details and sealant left to do. Only units I have worked on so far.

I use tackle boxes for storage. One unit per square works great (i.e. 3 cavalry or 4 infantry). The weren't painted at the time, but I don't forsee any issues

You just need to get a can of matte spray finish and give the models one or two nice even coats, or a small can of polyurethane to brush on the figures. I've yet to have any paint chip issues since I've started sealing my models.

Congratulations. I've only painted about a dozen figures, and really need to get a move on.

Congrats! it's quite a task. post some picks

There are times is miss the legons i have painted, but such is the life of a mercenary brush.

Thank´s everybody,

I´m not a very good with the camera, but i´ll try to post some pics soon, hopefully next week.

About storage, i´m going to try to custom build my own storage from foam core and some old archiving boxes i got from a freind. These boxes look really cool so i´ll try to post som pics of them too.

Awesome! I can hardly wait to see the results. A foam core box is a good idea.
