I was just looking through the FAQ and saw that Echo, specifically, has a rule that says she must declare a side to decloak from, and if she can do it, she must do it. Do none of the other phantom pilots have to do this? Just echo? If so, strange it isn't a blanket rule for all decloaking action itself.

What does this mean though?

When I ask that, currently I hold the Gentle 2 Manuever Template in my hand and kinda try to decide from there if I want to go left, right, or forwards. Is this just to prevent premeasuring the sides to figure out which way you want to go? So, basically I have to say "Decloaking Left," and then I can grab the template and check to perform action?

Every phantom has to declare left/right/forward, the faq entry clarifies that echo has to declare left forward/right forward/left back/right back/forward left/forward right.
