Midnight launcher Yay or nay?

By Bloodrunstrue, in UFS General Discussion

I've been seeing less and less play from ML and it's rapidly increased in stock at CSI, depsite this noone appears to be buying it.

So is it still in favour?

I'd personally rather another attack, just back it with pump as opposed to a potentially dead launcher. :/

Thoughts?

Nay

Same thing happened with Shoulder Rush, if I remember correctly.

I think the stats are OK for the restriction on it. But I remember those days of Shoulder Rush in Mr. Karate, drawing 2 at a time with nothing else lol

Its either that, or everyone just has what they want.

Or it could be that people are looking more at the stuff that just came out, hoping to get a handle on that before they go after cards they know are all over the place by now.

Personally, Lawnchair is not a bad attack, I just never run its symbols in my attack lineup.

I'm still very much Pro-Launcher.

4 diff, 7 damage is top notch, I think a lot more people are playing withing combos or themes, and launcher has no keywords, and only fits a few combos(knight breaker and Dragon Flame specifically for popular ones).

There is Throw decks, punch decks, combo decks, multiples decks, stun decks and kick decks, launcher doesn't fit into any of those decks besides the combo decks. So it is seeing less play. Still a great card.

Pretty sure no one is buying it because its a 16 dollar rare -_-

Yeah because Coolstuff thinks they can charge whatever they want because they are the only singles site. Which is why I only buy Commons from them

Pasta > Knight Breaker > Midnight Launcher

Off zone, to boot.

Would you mind pointing me to any other singles site? ( No seeing what I did thur)

So..... I take it you're all still pro Launcher, you were supposed to say Yay or Nay.

Yay though am not going to buy any for that outrageous price.

I second that seeing as i'm nay on launcher. bostezo.gif

After seeing it in action, I'm gonna go with NAY . That restriction is a real pain in the a** in practice, and drawing 2 Launcher along with no other attacks REALLY, REALLY sucks. To boot, it can't block, so it's a really limited piece. It is powerful, to be sure, but I'm not running it.

It comes down to deck construction. If I need one more attack to put 3 or 4 copies of in a deck, and I am running any of those symbols, yes I will place it on my list of attacks to consider. But, you have to look at the rest of your deck. Do you have enough blocks (I know, stupid question, you can never have enough blocks), are you trying to use a combo that runs High attacks (Breaker, Mariner, etc.), are there other High attacks that will mesh better with the deck? I like the card, I use it I'd say more than 50% of the time, so I'd say Yay. But it is not always needed.
