gohastings has wave 1?

Corvette is Han and the Neb is Chewbacca...If you go to the site and click on tbe pic it comes up what is really being ordered now...

If that's the case, that pair works out nicely for me and I'll just pretend that is what I ordered all along.

Yep, last week I ordered the Core Set from gohastings at the incredible price of $9.99. Paid for expedited shipping and received an Imperial Guardian from IA, same as someone else said. I mailed it back with the shipping label they gave me. Waiting for the refund now. They've had most of Wave 1 listed for weeks at stupid prices and "usually ships in 24 hours". I thought maybe they had the Core Set in stock and had just priced it too low, so I took my chances on that, but at no point did I think they actually had Wave 1. I'm pretty sure they have something in their terms of service that you have to check when you make your purchase protecting them from having to honor mistakes like this. At any rate, I think I saw somewhere that if your order is on hold for more than 7 days because an item is out of stock they just cancel the order. So...people hoping they will honor Wave 1 prices later are probably out of luck because even if they hadn't messed up and sent you Imperial Assault stuff they would have cancelled your order anyway because WAVE 1 IS STILL ON THE BOAT! Cough* excuse me.

I was contemplating about keeping the Imperial assault minis untill I saw a pic of them...Nott impressed with them at all...At least I did nott go overboard like some did ; thinking it was an inside trading special deal...Just have to sit back and wait for wave 2 pre-order...Drool Drool Drool...

the imperial assault minis are meh

but they're infinitely better than the tokens you get to represent them in the base game :P

For board game minis they are above average.

they do look far better when painted tbf, which speaks to their good model quality

if they were pre-painted, even with crappy factory paint jobs i might have bought IA

But they didn't and my wallet is a little happier because of it

Got a Han Solo ally pack today. Really banged up. Partly torn on the packaging. Not happy with their method of shipping at all, especially the whole part about giving you the wrong product. The order form that came with it actually lists both titles.

It said I ordered a Han Solo Ally Pack - with the Web Title of Armada CR90 Correllian Corvette....

Makes zero sense.

I got my Nebulon B Chewbacca today. The packaging worked out great for mine and I'll be adding him to my game once I get him painted up. Can't wait to get my CR90 Han Solo. While I really wanted to get the Armada ships, this has actually worked out okay as I wanted the IA expansions anyhow. So, now I'll have a couple of new minis to paint while I wait for Wave 1 to actually be released.

Mine will be heading back to Hastings. If it had been an ig88 (my brother needs it) or a saboteur / trooper I would have kept it. Oh well.

Has anyone contacted gohastings to see if they are going to honor the price we signed up for or just take the return and refund us.

My CR90 Han solo is coming in today!

All of you guys that tried and hoped to to rip off hastings for an obvious mistake are sad and pathetic. Listenign to you cry about getting the "wrong product" is pathetic....you were trying to capitalize on a very obvious listing error and are mad it didn't work. Grow up.....they didnt try to screw anybody or misrepresent the product..... you tried and are trying to gain from an error in listing.

Enough crying on this thread about it please.

No offense but how do you know we are whining and trying to rip some big company off.

I e-mailed them asking if this was the correct product and their lazy customer support sent me a form e-mail about the product description. They could have put a nail in the coffin days earlier if their head wasn't up their butts and they paid attention to customers or orders going in the system. They didn't try to screw anyone over but they had a big website error (that is now corrected) and may have to pay for it.

It's the free market. If someone wants to sell a product for cheaper I have the right to go buy it. If they post the product is cheaper then send the wrong thing instead of checking before shipment it is in no way the customers fault.

Your post is coming off more as sour grapes than constructive criticism of other forum users.
