Great game, so let's make these posts more positive.

I do not want to see this forum fall into a constant bickering place where all we do is argue and complain because then we have people complain about the complaining about the complaining and the we ha.... You get the idea. :P

I would like to amend my description of the internet being negative to this much more accurate passage

Motion sustained. The court will now adjourn.

Okay, who brought the booze?

Nobody would be on these forums if they did not have an interest in the game and either are playing it or hope to play it, I suspect.

Some criticism might not be constructive, but criticism and feedback is absolutely necessary for improving a product. Some criticism is highly subjective, such as "the game is too expensive" - sales numbers are typically a better indication of that - but even loaded commentaries on rules and balance can be useful. If FFG has any sense, the designers either read the forums and/or have someone filtering the feedback. I might be a grumpy internet entity with a funny-sounding name and a penguin crying its despair to the heavens as an avatar, but I for one get as irritated by overdone praise and "Woo-hoo! Everything is great!" threads as I get by unreasonable complaining and "Doooom!" threads.

It is usually a bad sign for a forum to have repeated calls for "more positivity" as it means the customer base is pretty angry at the company. I don't think that will happen on this forum, though, as I do not really think these fora have had more than the usual amount of complaining.

Sounds like the thought police are alive and well. I think the the empire's looking for a new spokesman for the emporer.

Here is my take. Be respectful, but be honest.

Truth is, it is a great game, it's also true that many people have paint issues with the neb b.

Should we disregard truth because it is not positive enough?

I agree, paint job aside this is an amazingly fun game! Has it had rollout issues, yes, but I can hardly lay a dockworker strike on FFG!

BUT! The horrible painting standard is something they need to fix early, our failure to press them now would allow for lower standards later. I don't know about any of you, but I play this game for aesthetics as well as fun.

Report the issue, talk on the forum about solutions and know FFG is very aware of the situation and future models should be fine. Is it a situation, sure. Is it one that is so bad people should not biy the game, No.

But as for the pai.... Shading issue it has been fully discussed and has had plenty of suggestions on how to fix it easy. So I think that issue has pasted.

Just for note FFG most likely got a proto type of the production run to show us in the press releases and the production factory (in China not NC US) most likely sent the best looking one they could find to look good to its costumer. It's actually quite common of a practice and FFG probably has been on the phone with China since the boxes hit the stores.
