Reaper has some pretty good minis in its Chronoscope line - www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/chronoscope/
The Nova Corp soliders would make decent generic goons.

Well, here is my Rogue Trader- based off of the Captain Allister Caine model from warmachine along with a couple of simple bits from the 40k range (space marine and imperial guard line). I hope to have him painted up before our next game (three weeks)!

I generally use chess pieces but then I'm incredibly cheap like that. Your milage may vary.
We always used simple d6 for baddies and better looking d6 for players and d20 for bosses
Chess pieces is something i never would have thought about. Creative

A lot of these models have serious potential.

I saw some others that were quite good. I'll report back when I remember the name of the company that makes them.
I just added Draegyn the Black Bastard (great name) and Harlan Phinneas the Illuminated One to my already too large for comfort order which includes the RT rulebook, Creatures Anathema and Phinneus Shae (no relation to Harlan).
Curse you lot for this wallet emptying thread!
On the plus side, I think the first two could double for WFRP 2E minis...
The GW inquisitor range are good, they even have a couple of rogue traders(looking very ex-navy/hive nobility)

I thought of using them, as I have quite a few already, but the cost is prohibitive at $20 a model and the time needed to build up 54mm terrain is fairly intensive as well. In all, my group has about a bajillion 28mm models, that cover a wide range of situations, from GW and other manufacturers, so that is a third strike against using =I= models.
Love the conversion, drgabe. Post a pic once you've painted it.
I love the Inquisitor range, but they're pricy and the conversion possibilities are much fewer.
I heard a rumor....which I will put in a new post! Check it out.
