Looks that way to me.
The only thing I'd add, is some upgrades let you attack from the same arc twice, but you can't target the same ship/squadron with both attacks.
So in that case using a Assault Frigate MKII. If you had a VSD and 3 Tie Fighters in the side arc, and you had an upgrade that does that, like Gunnery Team, you could roll 3 Red, 1 Blue at the VSD, then roll 2 Blue at each of the 3 Tie Fighters.
