I'm curious if anyone besides myself will be buying more than one copy of the R2D2 and C-3PO pack to paint them up as different droids?

Game-play wise, the alternative colored ones would be used mostly for Objective Civilians and such. But I think what would be really cool is if FFG made Generic Astromech and Protocal Droid cards to be included with the pack for skirmish games (Could work for both Rebellion and Imperial side even!).

But yeah, the main question is if anyone was gonna be making up their own paint schemes for droids, after making up the original normal R2D2 and C-3PO?

There's plenty of droids with stated color schemes in the fluff. You can check out some cards from the X-wing Miniatures game for examples, or probably just look up some examples on Wookieepedia.

Imperial astromechs in black look pretty rad as a side note.
