With Telescopic Sight you basicaly spend two actions to make one focused attack. How is this better than making two regular attacks? A whole second attack seems better to me than just an extra green die. Perhaps I'm missing something.
Telescopic Sight - Am I missing something?
I have often thought this myself when looking at that card. I'm sure someone has some wonderful insight on this.
Maybe if you want to ensure that you get enough range for the attack? Or landing enough damage on the biggies like Vader to let Blast, Stun and Bleed pop off?
It's still not very good.
1) You're in a space and you have no intention of leaving that space and you wanna make sure that the attack has enough accuracy to reach your intended target (instead of moving up, attacking once without an extra die and moving back)
2) You have a weaker weapon and a focused attack is needed to punch through and strike damage on a target with high defense. Attacking twice with the weaker weapon might end up in a complete wash

With a telescopic sight, if you're still missing something, it's time to get a new blaster!
