The Best Around

By knew_b33, in UFS General Discussion

Woops...

My best around:

Character: Rashotep, causes a bit of trouble for anyone, backed by Torn Hero and he is really really 'difficult'. Note. I've built a few Rashoteps but he isn't my main player by any stretch of the imagination...

Attack: Fury of the Ancients (assumes you have reusable damage pump ala Omar, etc.) Honorable mention: Any throw atm...

Asset: PotM becuase it gives any non-damage pump character a kill enhance (see Rashotep, Algol, etc.)

Action: Cold and Indifferent, the most offensive and defensive action and it reminds me of most women I know (well, they are all capable of this!) Honorable mention: Dual Wielding becuase it is the equivalent of a Fight or Flight in Hilde

Foundation: Cursed Blood *will be even better once order gets a couple characters and once good gets one more character... Oddly enough standoff isn't my pick for damage redux or increase, yes it is good - but I don't like being cancelled. Honorable mention: The Ultimate Team, offense and defense in a nice package, mix with 'draw' (my fav mechanic) and this thing will be a star in your deck (see also +2 low block...)

Razor's Bite! Honestly, a 4 speed low attack which enables you to know your next checks? In the same symbols as Researching the Past? Quite a nasty little thing there, and sets up an amazing number of combo shenanigans if you look around at the cards in the set...

Shhh.... My Algol deck seriously abuses this tech. After my pre-releases this weekend I will post up what I think are the 'best around', I think everyone is providing some really nifty responses ^^

YA an other algol player!

can't wait to see your thoughts on the best around.

Thx, I posted in here (good thread btw) and I am posting my (pre-Tekken) Algol deck in deckbuilding, check it out :)

I will go check that deck list out, though I guess yours is through chaos? or is it all... because mine is through all

I understand completely how Destruction in his Wake is beastly but to me I wouldn't try it for that combo requirement, just like Toughest in the Universe.

but since you all are loving that action, can you tell me what your are using to enforce the destruction?

Embrace/Flooded-Nile - Leg Slash - Launcher/Breaker

Using Intimidating Presence all the way for the ultimate one-sided start over ;) . No one needs to point out how much DIHW has made Zhao Daiyu that much better.

A super RFG forced restart on your opponent?

Using ONE Destruction in His Wake ought to be enough to set back the opponent's turn, but like I said, if you're using Intimidating Presence on your attacks, it's almost a guaranteed turn back for your opponent, while you're that much more ahead of the game.

The card was simply made for Zhao Daiyu. Embrace + Presence, Leg Slash (presence if desired), Twilight Embrace + Combo E + Regular E + Intimidating Presence, Destruction in His Wake.

They will not have a staging area. Period.

Algol Chaos is a nice one, but heck! Do I need a block!

And recently, Enemies now Friends has given a new meaning to damage reduction and damage pump in Hilde ... Use it on your first attack along with any other redux you can get your hands on, E with Hilde for damage and speed pump, then play a nasty little low attack or something as a finisher... *drools*

Fixed.

Did I myself post Astrid or did somebody edit? I meant Hilde anyways '^_^

Sorry, I have yet to post it (will get to it today hopefully). It is void, it will (more likely than not) turn into a dual symbol come Tekken add-ons, and primarily be all - sub void.

Probably easiest to do this in a top 3:

Character: 1. Astrid, 2. Rashotep, 3. Kazuya/Jin

Action: Hmmmmmmm havent seen a ton of play with many of the actions. 1. Switching Weapon Styles, 2. Dual Wielding, 3. No Forgiveness!

Asset: 1. Potm, 2. Jimmy Kimmel, 3. Either of the Voltron Kitten Force Assets.

Attack: 1. Pommel Smash, 2. First Rite or Wheel Kick, 3. maybe launcher

Foundation: 1. STAND OFF (best card in format), 2. Ka Technique, 3. Financial Troubles

Cereal: 1. Cinnamon Toast Crunch, 2. Frosted Mini-Wheats, 3. Apple Cinnamon Cheerios.

This is just a rough list. There are tons of good options in every category... except assets. POTM is just the best asset far and away.

I think one of the best cards period atm is Hungry for Battle.

Drop 2 of them first turn and it makes for an easy 2nd turn kill.

Basically check a 3, commit one foundation for +3dmg, or check a 4-5 and get 1-2dmg for free...7dmg wheel kicks turn 2? OK!
