Can you cast enchant blade on a weapon that is already a magic object? Like the runesword or the sword of light? The spell says that it can be cast on a weapon and that it is now considered a magic object. What about weapons that are already magical?

Can't remember reading anything about it not being doable.

If you read the card, then it seems that you must cast it on normal weapons because it become a magic object.

I think you cannot cast it on magic objects because they are already a magic object from themself.

So... use it on your axe or your sword.

This is the logical way for me..

I like the interpretation of Velhart but I think there's no reason not to allow to cast Enchant Blade on a Magic Object. The legal target is a Weapon (can be an Object or a Magic Object) and the result is that it adds an additional +1 to your Strength in battle. The +1 is cumulative with the effects of the Weapon and the fact that is considered a Magic Object doesn't imply it should have been a normal Object before casting the Spell.

Compare it with Bladesharp: legal target is a Weapon, effect is to add +2 to Strength in the battle you're about to engage. Will you deny a Character the chance to use it on the Runesword?

Speaking with Jon, he says that you can cast it on weapons that are magic objects too..

So the question has been answered..

Poor, poor Priest. Enchant Blade and Bladesharp suck monster-balls for him.

"Okay, I'll boost up the weapon. Wait, I can't use it."

"Thanks! +2 weapon is better than just my basic +1 Sword. Of course, I can use two weapons."
