I believe the only people in atlanta who have copies are ben shoemaker and myself/generalreaction but I could be wrong. Just because we have them doesn't mean we can't acknowledge a distribution problem in that no one else in our area has any kind of access to them. The only way for a new player to get their hands on them is through trading, and its not like anyone has extras. Maybe if ffg could stick some copies in prize support for regional events and the pro tour, they would still get the whole idea of "go to a big event to get this fancy card", but make it more accessible for those of us who don't have the money to fly several hundred miles to an event that only happened once.

Of course, if FFG is just giving these things away without asking to attend an event, why don't more people have them? FFG hasn't "provided" our play group with any copies.

they really are not that hard to get ahold of. I traded some character exclusive UR for them, yeah you have to give a lil more but its definatley not impossible.

To be completely honest if Im not Ivy or King I dont even use PotM. Christie can make use of it sure but I still dont think shes cery viable.

Any other character has other options and huge damage pumps in the forms of attacks and foundations

A few pieces of information to add to the debate on accessibility.

Tuesday won the UK event, and therefore has a large number of this card that I'm sure he's be happy to trade, as do numerous other players over here.

The UK event had a number of players from other countries (primarily France) who attended in order to get the cards. We also had a number of people redeeming patches on others' behalf, people who put in the effort to get it.

If you weren't willing to take part in the whole "cooperative redemption" process that was going on (and which was fairly well documented at the time) then you're effectively saying that there's NOBODY on these forums that you trust who went to this event. Is that the case, or are you just making excuses for being disorganised?

If you really want copies and can't/won't get them any other way, I have 9 sat in my trade folder that I can't give away right now because everyone I know has a full set. PM me, I'm sure we can come to an arrangement.

As far as the power level of the card goes: powerful, yes; broken, no; ban-worthy, no. Just my 2c.

Besides, given some of the other stuff FFG weren't willing to ban I really can't see this getting the hammer no matter how much people complain.

Heck, at the US tourney, the winner (Jon Herr) had something like 600+ of the silly things. I doubt any of the big winners are going to charge to much for them. It seems kind of odd to claim that you just cant get them.

As is, if you were so outrageously paranoid about the patches that you couldnt get into the various 'Send us your patches!' trades going on, I have no idea how you manage to operate on the internet at all. *BTW Antigoth, thanks again to your group helping me turn in some extra patches. My players appreciated it!*

You obviously missed the point of the post. Forum Trading isn't a guaranteed form of getting what you need. And being a jackass and saying 'grow a pair' makes me wanna trade there even less.

Just because you've had the ideal trade experience doesn't mean everyone else has. And just because you've never traded with someone with a negative rating doesn't mean that ONE TIME won't be the time you get burned.

I'd just like to point out that burnings do happen, and as such I haven't traded on the internet since the dread Phoenix whoever saga that went on for like two months. So with all due respect to the person who told the other guy to "grow a pair," piss off.

On the actual topic, Path of the Master is a real good damage pump, unfortunatly there aren't too too many decks that can truley utilize her. In fact the only real ones I can think of would be Tira (using Vibrator and Minuette Dance) and Ivy (with all her pokes). The draw is nifty, but how many character specific cards are there in block 4?
