Does it explain that in the rule book Velhart, or are they house rules you use? I am just starting to read them from the beginning, between posting on here.

I don't like house rules.

I want to play as the game has been made...

BUT i have only made 1 house rule so far because the trapdoor adventure card from the dungeon expansion sucks..

It is ridiculous that you are falling down below and end before a door outside in open air...

So i have use the trapdoor text from third edition that you land on the first vault space in the dungeon if you do not roll under your craft on 2 dices, and i have use it 2 days ago for the first time in 4th edition.

It was hilarious. I drew a battle hulk of strength 10 and goblin marauders of strength 5 ( total strength 15 )

Later in the game, my swashbuckler has defeat them both because his own strength( without rolls is 13) partido_risa.gif

That teach them a lession, not to mess with the swashbuckler !! gran_risa.gif

Wizard started pretty poorly in our games, but climbed to tied 3rd place in the win column after each char had been played 8 times (Thief 9). His poor start is shown in the mid-game death column, top spot with 3 deaths (along with Minstrel and Sorceress).

In our games, wizard is pretty good. ( my opponent has only play him so far.

But sunday, he wanted him dead because of his bad luck but it was not necessary...

I have high expectations of the Wizard. But i have not draw him in 7 games sad.gif

I like the prophetess too, but she has no psychic pvp ability, but i have won with her so far..

Going back to the rafts, I have a question regarding the rules:

The rules state " The character may cross the river to any space of his choice directly opposite the one he is in ", which is kind of contradicting itself. You can either move to any space OR you can move the space directly opposite (from Woods to Runes, or Forest to Castle). Does it actually mean that you can choose a space on that side of the board, so crossing from the Forest would mean you could cross to Portal of Power, Castle, Runes, Woods, or Temple?

No, you can only cross to the other side.

But some spaces on the other side of the woods contains 2 spaces. ( well, only a little...

They have made a rule so that you can choose, but this is bull to me..

For me, there is only one space on the other side of the woods, that is meant to go there if you use a raft.

I hate to say it but this are the rules that talismansilat from FFG said to us..

If you are in the Woods nearest to the Village, you may only move to the Hidden Valley;
If you are in the Woods nearest to the City, you may move to either the Runes or Warlock's Cave;
If you are in the Woods nearest to the Tavern, you may move to either the Desert or Oasis;
If you are in the Forest, you may move to either the Castle or Portal of Power.

------------

I don't use this rule..

Thanks- that is what I thought Velhart, and what I seem to remember being the rule in the 2nd edition all those years ago. They don't make this particular rule very clear in my opinion. I think I will just stick to the rule of moving to the space directly opposite and not having a choice of spaces.
