French Preview for the Dreamlands

By PRODIGEE, in CoC General Discussion

For those of us who don't speak french, is there a chance you could translate the cards? Or are they just too small too read?

You will find cards bigger, now.

The Captain
Independant, dreamer
Heroïc, Willpower
Action : If it is day, pay 2 to choose a story. Until the end of the phase, count The Captain's icons and skill towards this story without committing him to that story.

Enraged Gug,
Gug, Monster
Toughness +1.
Response : After Enraged Gug is wounded, choose and wound a character with a C icon.

Enraged Gug is like Olde Foul Dimensional Shambler. Costs less with one more combat but one less toughness. For the guy with the spear, thems long odds.

The Captain has the icons of Norman Sr. and Special Operations Team costing one less. But he has willpower. Is he aboard the White Ship with constelations in the background? Both illustrations look super.

It makes you wonder what the game might have been like had great expensive super cool rare characters cost just one less, or maybe two less. Imagine Norman Senior for three. Imagine Sir William Brinton for three. He never made any half real MU deck as a five. Albert Wilmarth for four. Freelance Photographer for two. Any high cost syndicate for one less. The game was so great - what if many of its classics had actually been playable - what if we'd seen certain boring low cost characters a little less. I know the game got faster. But were'nt some of those guys off the charts. I say this because the LCG era may have hit the reset on the speed up. But similar characters may be costed for more likely play.
