Lost Realm - was your interior cardboard tray OK or damaged?

By SteveG, in The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game

Thanks for any feedback. My retailer ordered 2 and was wondering if it's a batch issue as both damaged inside. The rulebook is fine, this must have been a packing machine or something. The cards are forced into the side of the insert, rolling it and tearing it.

Thanks

Missing a picture here, I guess?

Mine was fine.

Thanks, this is hopefully a temporary local issue to this part of the UK, unless of course I see other replies stating cardboard carnage!

Onto the game then, thanks all.

The insert in my brother's copy of Road Darkens was totally mangled and torn. I assume it's just the kind of thing that happens once every 1,000 copies or something like that.

I picked up my copy at a FLGS and it seemed to be damaged as you described. The cards and rulebook were fine but the insert looked to be rolled up and torn.

I was worried at first but again, all the important contents were fine!

Mine was fine. It was a pre-order from CSI.

ordered mine from Gameslore, and it was perfectly fine.

Mine seemed to be okay when I got it from my FLGS.

Thanks all, I am also talking to FFG as I hope this is isolated.

To CaffeineAddict..cheers Gameslore is UK so that's good news.

To Teamjimby and Ryodu, what countries are you in?

Also got mine from Gameslore in the UK - all was well.

Me too.

I just picked up a copy of Treason of Saruman from Travelling Man in Manchester had a similar issue with that box - cards and rulesheet were fine, the interior cardboard tray had been crushed. Makes you wonder - do they pack those bits by hand or machine? If it's by hand surely they wouldn't allow that to go through.
