New to the Warhammer Universe- any novels to recommend?

Another vote for Drachenfels - it ain't canon, but that's because Jack Yeovil (aka Kim Newman) rises above canon on angel's wings. Haven't read the other books, but Drachenfels is a gem, turning so many fantasy tropes on their head - e.g. a dwarf who is a human dwarf, unheroic heroes, a play performance as the central climax. Drachenfels is my canon for WFRP, and **** anything that contradicts it! gran_risa.gif

Well he had to work with the name of the miniature. So I think he handled it quite well.

Graphic novels were first, then minature.

Whether these books are good or not (hey, I like Dan Abnett as much as the next guy), unless it's for a funny parody or in a He-man toyline, I just CAN'T take a character seriously if he has a name like " Fenrir Grimdarkblade " or " Darkstar Bloodshard ".
