Kazuya

ok where is the post about the ruling on Kazuyas ability regarding character cards

Ruling on what? Kazuya is fairly straightforward in all of his abilites.

Ok, that may have been a bit harsher than I meant. It was early.

Kazuya's F:

F Commit, Discard 1 character card from your staging area, remove all non-character cards in your staging area from the game: Destroy all non-character cards in your opponants staging area.

Seems fairly straightforward to me. You must discard an extra stacked Kazuya to use the ability. The ability RFGs all of your non-characters(as a cost), and destroys all of your opponant's non-character cards. So, at the end of it all, you should only have Kazuya(however many are left) and your opponant's character(however many are stacked).

ok...well some ppl were having a debate about what character card means...aka if character only cards are applicable...but that answers my ? thx

A character only card is a action, foundation, attack or asset that happens to say "X character" only. A character card is a Character card. I dont see when confusion comes into this...

Ok me and my boys were having a arguement about this yesterday cause he's gonna tell me that you can stack Kazuya with a identical copy of him and we told him no cause you can't stack like that but when the promo comes out then you could do it.

You can most definitely stack identical characters. There is no rule against it, though you do not recieve any bonus for it unless your character specifically references the number of characters, or uses characters some how.

Short and simple:

Yes to stacking identical characters. Yes to Kazuya discarding other copies of himself to pay the cost of his F.
