The Tie is in stores now. I started it last night. So far I have the cockpit and 1 wing done and I'm so surprised how sturdy it is. The wings are around 4 layers thick.
It seems to be about the same scale as the Red5, which is larger than minifig scale.
Three-and-a-half feet long. 10,000+ bricks. 24 LEDs. 2 months to plan and build.
