What would an Inquisitor do to an Acolyte who cursed the name of the Lord Emporer?
about inquisitors
Um, probably execute him on the spot. I doubt it ever happens, though. Imperial society doesn't really have the "you aren't my real dad" attitude towards authority that ours does. And Inquisitors are 99% of why that's the case. We're not talking about "f*ck the pol-lice" here. Inquisitors can order entire planets destroyed or entire noble dynasties snuffed out overnight. Ordinary citizens, no matter how "hard" they are otherwise, are terrified at the idea of crossing one. Imagine the Russian mob crossed with the KGB, and then picture someone that they wouldn't cross, and that's an Inquisitor.
Needless to say, an Inquisitor wouldn't even hesistate to kill a random would-be pawn (which is all that an acoylte is until they've really proven themselves) for heresy, the wrong attitude, and a complete lack of brains.

Depends on the Inquisitor, but regardless, it wouldn't be good.
Depends on the Inquisitor. wether the acolyte actually meant it, who was listening etc.
Of course if the Acolyte did this publicly even the most radical of Inquisitors would punish him severely, usually involving death.
If the acolyte just grumbled "the Emperor must hate me" or some such the consequence probably wouldn't be so harsh, unless there was open defiance.
What if he's a Tzeentchian mastermind who isn't really an inquisitor at all, and just has completely convinced the "acolytes" that they are working for the big =][=?
[but that would NEVER happen...
...or would it?]
