So, post Sleeper phase, would the best way to determine everyones loyalty not be to execute each player in turn? That way, everyone's Loyalty cards will be revealed to the entire group and Inspiring Speeches can fix the morale damage? Unlike Baltars once per day, there really is no uncertainty over who ISNT a Cylon?

There is a pretty extensive thread discussing it from when it was first previewed until we had hard data on what exactly execution did. My opinion is that it is quite superior to the brig. Executing everyone may be unnecessary, but it certainly seems like a good first option against people you have legitimate suspicions about.

It sucks to have an unreavled cylon messing up all your skill checks when you on new caprica. However you better have the time and the president to make up for wasting cards (played to brig/execute, discarded from being executed) and the moral loss. Yes you get the loyality figured out which can be huge but I just executed my Vice president to find out they where a human then have a cylon reveal next turn and have no cards in our hands to stop the nasty crisis. Just got to be careful.
