Hey, so people pulling unreleased promos in their packs; seems to happen most, if not every set, but very rarely (mostly at pre-releases). Today was our pre-release, and man were there alot of promos being pulled . 3 people who bought boxes were surpised to find the UFS "golden Ticket" in one or more of their packs. I was just wondering if alot of people are finding them?

One guy pulled a copy of Promo Astrid (which I quickly got from him).
I pulled a copy of the SCIV promo Arrayed for Battle
- Arrayed for Battle: Foundation, 3 diff, 5 CC, +3 Mid block,
Chaos/Fire/Life
F, Destroy this Foundation: The next combo attack you play this turn gets -3 difficulty

E, Commit: Your attack gets +X speed. X equals the total number of Soul Calibur IV cards in your card pool

and another friend got the motherload, out of one box he pulled 6 promos (5 being in the same pack, as well as a black test print card with a White X on it. He pulled:
-The pre-release promo Paid to Protect
- Heihachi Mishima
- Bryan Fury
- Steve Fox
- Jin Kazama
- The Devil Within
- the Black Card with a large white X across it that is printed at the end of a sheet of cards.

And each of these took up the place of an Uncommon or Common, the rares (actually Ultra Rares for each) were still included.

I had no idea that was possible.. I want Promo Astrid nao! Although, wouldn't that kinda ruin the point of a TEKKEN pre-release if you're using Shadowar characters?

Well everyone in the pre-release was given 4 promos with their packs (Heihachi, Steve, Bryan, and Paid to protect), but the guy who got the astrid pulled it after the pre-release from the left overs. The funny thing is the friend of mine who pulled all 4 pre-release promos didnt play during the pre-release, yet still managed to get all of the promos for it

Getting promo Astrid would be awful at a Tekken pre-release.. Ha ha

Has Heihachi been spoiled somewhere or could you? Our pre-release kit has disappeared somewhere enroute from the USA.

Combined with Kazuya's character card foundations he's really nuts when you run a large number of character blocks. A player at our store just threw together a quick build and just about every attack he played had between 11 and 22 damage. (and that was just with Tekken Cards)

LOL@Heihachi, aggromuch? Holy F. Also, Heihachi + The Entertainer = drawstep? What's that? Just run him with Astrid's weapon support and all the draw =)

Well apperently its not just the one store I play at, because at the pre-release of another store I play at today, a friend (Nyobari form these forums) pulled a copy of Patriot Games in one of this packs. So far as I've seen everyone who has pulled a promo, also got an Ultra as their regular pack card.

Thanks for posting the pictures, but was it really necessary to ****** my Jin and Devil Within scans? =P

Pulling promos would have been nice as opposed to opening 9 packs that only contained Commons and Uncommons... No Rare... No UR... just a $4 pack of Ccommons and Uncommons.
