Hi i played against this card basically what it does is

F: remove this card from the game: name a card. search your opponents deck for 1 copy of the named card and remove it from the game.

My question is , can I shuffle my deck after he finds the named card? my opponent says no because it doesnt say so on the card but I think I would because how do I know if my opponent would rig the deck (Doubtful but in like a serious competition i might expect something like that).

anytime someone looks through their deck they're sposed to shuffle i THINK it was in the rules somewhere.

Try the advanced rules, pg 3:

1.4 After searching any deck for any number of cards, the player owning the deck must reshuffle it.
