I just got my preordered book from my FLGS on Saturday.

Awesome. More "make what you will of it" Tyrant Star teasers, threats by Ordos and some nice "super villians". You have serious diversity amongst the foes presented to avoid that "Oh we're fighting cultists, again" feeling.

I would call this book essential for any Dark Heresy GM. If you're running a game, get it.

When I last posted, I was informed a book I had ordered was in and wating for me... this bookmwas not DotDG.

I've been told by my local (UK) store that the book is due in this week and the cover price (what with teh exchange rate being as it is etc.) will be 35GBP (eeek).

Hi, my name is Peacekeeper and Im also without DotDG. I saw a copy once at HeroCon, Ross let me look at it. I was hoping Brien would cause a distraction and I could escape in the crowd of gamers (all 12 of them) and elude capture and have my precious.

Now I wake up late at night and re-read the beast house preview PDF over and over and over again.

So what's actually in the book? The title implies the focus is quite narrow.

trust me, the focus is not narrow in the least.

It is a layout of major cults in the Calixis sector, subdivided into Herticus, Malleus, and Xenos. It has information on about 3 different factions for each, with some NPC's and ways to build NPC's. It really is more of a ton of extra source material for a GM to work into the campain and major ways the cults operate. It gives a good outline but it is up to the GM to come up with a lot of the filler.

As chair of DotDGA I would like to officially change the name to DHBIAGYA (Dark Heresy Books I Aint Got Yet Annonymous) as I realize we will be going through this again in February while waiting for Creatures Anathema.

I cancelled my DotDG -order from Amazon.com (it was still pre-order phase) and ordered it from here, at FFG store.

And yesterday I got an email from them saying that it is posted! YAY!

I've been trying real, real hard to stay away from bookshops and hobby stores. I really have.

Eclectic Game in Reading are holding a copy of Disciples this Wednesday for me. Orcs Nest in London have it in stock too.

I guess I'll get it for xxxmas.

Eclectic Games quoted ma a RRP of £35. Ouch! I guess quality does come at a price. I also heard that all game imports from the US will be increased in priice due to the world wide recession.
