Seriously. Someone bought Wolf at Gencon and is getting a 5x markup. I don't understand why FFG continues this madness. There is no reason for it any longer.
FFG - with the return of Tannhauser this fall, please put Wolf up for sale somewhere. How about you can buy Wolf with the purchase of Daedalus? This game was not made or designed to be "Collectable" with rare and exclusive pieces.

i dont understand why wolf is not for sale in u.s. here in germany we can buy him for 8.95€, like all the other chars.

FFG's reasoning is that they did not want to piss people off who recived the promo from the pre-order back in 2007.
I am sure in those 2 years, the people who have WOLF got the novelty out of it.
Well It's up over $70 (US), I paied less (after figuering in Conversion) for the Core Game at last Gen Con OZ last year.

At the time of the original US release Wolf was an exclusive pre-order fig. But instead of making it available as regular pack a few months after the release, FFG sticked to the "Exclusive promo fig" shtick and continue to sell it only at events like Gen Con. The consequence is that for players not attending these evenst there is no way to get wolf from a brick and mortar store.

It is now up to 80 bones
Surely at $70 or $80 a buyer should wake up and realize that could spend $60 for the entire base game and have enough money left to purchase a suitable proxy figure to replace the over-priced Wolf. I just converted several of my Games Workshop and other figures (including TH) for use in Incursion, as I cannot currently justify $140 for the full set of figures being offered for that extremely fun alternate World War II game.

Got mine from a French online store for 25 bucks american + 7 or 8 for shipping. Got it in 7 days.
