Miniature Market has put up prices for their pre orders.

Expected release dates are still oh so far away (July to September, putting it about the time of Gencon). I guess that gives us time to save up for those getting multiples.

nice finds! if my depth perception wasn't terrible I could draw a decent comparison :P (seriously the bases look roughly the same size to me)

the model looks about 133% bigger in the top photo?

...now I just need to have the actual physical model in my possession right now

And I want my Gladiators so bad its making me ulcerous.

I'm really taken with the aesthetic of the Gladiator.

Prices are great, but their postage to Australia kills it, $70 for wave 2

That's what made me by wave 1 from an Australian store, combat company

Nott unusual for MM...Happens alot wks before new release...They are one of the largest miniature and games wholesalers in the USA...The4e are other internet sources that still have wave 1 pre-orders available...Unique that only MM even has wave 2 pre-order now too...

Hmmm, I am not sure I like the rouges and villains expansion pack. I thought this game was about the large anonymous fleet battles, the unsung heroes and martyrs of the civil war that got next to no recognition. Not Han Solo and Boba Fett battling it out. This is the same reason I do not like to use Luke Skywalker or the other heroes, this is not a game about them, it is about the massive fleet battles that happen behind the scenes of the movies. It is about the anonymous admirals and captains that carried out their orders to what they needed to. I just don't think that the Millennium Falcon and Slave 1 will mesh well with the current fleet and games.

Sure is making me revise my "2 of everything" plan, down to 1 of everything :)

easy solution as just to pretend they're some other hotshot yt-1300 or firespray ace. God knows the only way to tell them and the generics apart is their faces on the health dials

I just hope they are not OP and capable of soloing a star destroyer. They need to be upgraded fighters, not much more.

I'm pretty positive that soloing a star destroyer would be physically impossible for most capital ships, let alone a crappy little named squadron :P

we already have plenty of character squadrons spoiled to give some idea of how powerful they area. The most powerful in terms of raw offense is, by far, is Keyan Farlander's double black-dice plus re-rolls when attacking shieldless hull areas.

lacking the advantages of things such as Concentrate Fire or Repair is going to make it ridiculously difficult for any squadron to do much of anything versus capitals without some numbers. It is more than likely that the character squadrons are going to be anti-squadron focused (because I sure as **** see no way for a yt-1300 to assault a capital ship) apart from those flying dedicated anti-capital ship...ships (and not always, given Dutch is flying a Y-wing bomber but his ability works only on squadrons and he has one more blue die to boot)

it does seem that the Firespray is a bomber (two blue die for its anti-ship weapon), but it is incredibly unlikely we'll see an attack value over the speed 2 Keyan unless Boba ends up running at the price of a corvette or something
