Cr90s are great cheap ships that pack a mean punch at long range. Fighters are also pretty useful. I would suggest the cr90 first for the upgrade cards. But I would get the squadron box next tho too

Get an Assault Frigate.

You can't go wrong with the corvette - many rebel fleet builds even now make use of at least two corvettes. Whereas rebels with multiple Neb Bs is fairly specialised and quite rare. Corvette also comes with Mon Mothma who is very powerful in the right build.

Also if you are just playing fairly limited battles, Neb Bs have a rough time against the VSD unless used well and backed up by B Wings.

Neb B is definitely worth getting at some stage though if you plan on getting into the game heavily. Yavaris is an awesome squadron ship, and Xi7s are of great card to have for Rebel or Imperial fleets.

The remaining cards in the Nebulon would have to be UTTERLY and RETARDEDLY amazing to make it a better choice over the Corvette though.

Oh, but they are

both salvation and yavaris are two great ships for 60 odd points each. They make far more impact on a fleet than a second corvette.

Although I agree first purchase should be an assault frigate.

Stopped by the store and got a Corvette and the Rebel fighters. I've made a lot of purchases for X-Wing recently, so I'll have to wait a while for anything else or my wife might force choke me.
