Myself, I'm desperate to get those VSD alt art cards, but only two of each come with the spring kit. There's lots of the Neb B's.

One of my local stores knows that tournaments are a long time commitment, so they are running what is essentially Armada open play one night a week. I'm sure once more is released and we get a better grasp on the game there will be nights with certain themes or build restrictions, but not right now.
Every week you show up, you get a Nebulon-B card. If you show up all of the 8 weeks you get a VSD card, IIRC. There are other prizes handed out for other levels in between (4 and 6). Can't remember what they are. Each week they do a random drawing for a Armada dice bag.
I love that the Vic is in the midst of a planetary bombardment
Am I the only one that thinks the Vic should be oriented nose-down for a bombardment? Or at least with the dorsal surface facing the planet to bring the main batteries into play...

Maybe they don't trust their navigator. I hear the bridge crews on those ships are a bunch of cross eyed major a$$holes with bad depth perception

Participate in a spring kit event and do well. Most likely to go to top players due to only two in the kit.

I wonder if these alt cards are actually more practical than the regular ones. I've whined in other threads about all the stuff you need to keep on your ship card obscuring the information you need to draw from it, so having a big blank space in the centre of the card for command dials/speed dial/defensive tokens might be handy.
These cards are so beautiful I wish that all the Armada cards were done like this. They're not just alternate art but a whole new and more beautiful way to do the cards.

The cards were pictured in the initial announcement by FFG but is it possible to get pictures of the tokens and the medal that were not ?
