Hello again peoples, again I've got another question involving some of the fun upgrades inside the Rulebook. Namely it's involving the Exterminator, as it mentions it's a upgrade that can be added to any weapon. I'm just curious to see what other GMs are allowing this upgrade to be added into. Namely if anyone only allows it to belong to a ranged weapons, melee weapons, or a combination of both?

The errata limits it to non-pistols that does 1d10 or more damage. Also, weapons with this loses Balanced, if it has it. Flexible weapons cannot have it either.
I see no reason why it shouldn't be useable for both ranged and melee weapons - it's just a one-shot cartridge that you install somewhere on a weapon's shaft.

And the rules agree with you. What was your point?
Answering the OP's question, maybe?
