Dude, I bought that on DVD a few years ago and it's unwatchable for me now. I got like 3 episodes in and said, "This is no where near as good as it was in middle school!!" Same with Voltron sadly...

Yes, I recently tried re-watching some of the greats from when I was a young tacker .. Voltron, G-Force, Mysterious cities of gold, Thundercats, MASK, Transformers, Astroboy, Ullysees 31, etc. Sadly, all have aged. Astroboy was the biggest disappointment.

But I digress. Barry, you have truly brought the S&V faction alive. To date I have had zero interest in this faction as it felt like more of an Avengers style 'dream team' then a force. I just can't imagine Boba, IG88, Bossk, etc all teaming up to take on the Rebels or Imps.

You though sir, have made a force which looks like a unified band of vagabonds who are indeed aiming to misbehave.

I heard the next GI JOE movie will be a M.A.S.K. crossover. If they include a flying 3rd gen Camaro with gullwing doors I'm in.

I love the Ywing, it's terrific. The heavy Z95 is also nicely proportioned.

At the risk of derailing this thread further, the one I can't return to from my childhood is SeaquestDSV. I loved that show growing up. Can't figure out why now, looking at the Netflix reruns. And it's doubly sad as Jonathan Brandis killed himself in the early 2000s.

I dont tend to use much in the way of filler...green stuff.

I cut and measure everything very closely and then Plastic weld all the parts together and to the hulls,

the Plastic weld uses concentricity as it flows into the joints, so this makes a good seal between tight joining lines and parts.

Like most good science fiction shows it got cut after the second season. Well it had longer lengths than some like Max Headroom which was only 3 seasons.

Not a bas show, the only thing is that they tried to make it both a ground and a pilot show. It works in fantasy but pilots won't be wasted in infantry operations like some episodes were depicted.

Excellent work! I really like the Y-Wing and modified Z-95s!

I absolutely love the modified Zs, they are exactly what I think of when I hear Scum Headhunter.

Am i the only one who prefered the original BSG to the reimagined show? To me the new show would have been better if they had tried to do their own thing instead of trying to hook old fans into a completely different setting by appealing to nostalgia with reused names.

And then Stargate had to emulate BSG with 'darker and more realistic camera angles' and forgot to write enough characters that were likable so I could care about em. It's probably a good thing SG universe only lasted 2 seasons, because Once Upon A Time wouldn't be the same show without Mr. Gold.

Ok digressions done. Can't wait to see more scummy goodness, like a modified Lambda.

Babylon 5 looked kind of janky to me when it first came out (I was ~15 at the time and CG was primitive as hell), but when I watched it as an adult I really appreciated the show's staying true to hard SF where possible, "the big picture" of classic SF and the acting and story were actually pretty **** good. You could appreciate that the Narns were pissed as hell at the Centauri, and that it's not going to be Star Trek hugs & kisses at the end.
