Objective cards

By Gaz 788, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

Sorry to bring this up if it already has, But what does the numerical value on the bottom right hand corner mean???

Only a few have a value but I am unable to find any reference to them?

Gareth

The number shows how many points each victory token is worth. You will notice that only those objectives that award them have the numbers.

Edit:
RRG, Page 9: Scoring
"Each victory token is worth the number of fleet points indicated in the lower-right corner of the objective card used for that game."

LTP, page 22: Objectives
" Some objectives allow players to collect victory tokens to increase their score; at the end of the game, each victory token is worth the fleet point value listed in the lower-right corner of the objective card."

It's the number of points a victory token gained by completing that objective is worth. See "Scoring" and "Victory Tokens" in the RRG.

Cheers peeps. I'm a muppet, I should of realised.

So objective cards dont have an associated points costs when fleet building then?

As in you have to pay to take them? No, you just have to select one of each type from which your opponent would get to pick from if they end up being the first player (so it probably pays to select based on the strengths of your particular fleet).

Thanks Khouri! you have been a great help.

Good. I'm glad I'm not the only one that didn't clue in to that rule. Thanks!

Wow, I missed that one too. I had assumed they cost points to add to your fleet which I thought made no sense. The point value of victory tokens makes much more sense. Thank you.
