2 Questions.

1. What happens (if anything) if a Firespray drops a bomb, the turn after laying down a prox mine? (If Emon assume same template was used)

2. Who do I bring along as crew for Emon? Have three points to spare in a friendly dual Firespray list.

1. I'm not sure I understand this question.... Are you saying if Emom drops a bomb on top of a Prox mine? The bomb goes off but the prox mine does nothing. The Prox mine only blowups if a ship flies through it or its dropped on top of another ship.

2. K4 Security droid. Lets you keep a decent offensive action going while dropping Proxies.

Emon is kitted out decently, but I'd upgrade the Merc to Boba or Kath. Drop the horrible ordnance as they suck and grab a Cannon and a good EPT.

I agree that K4 is a good crew. You don't want Recon as you won't get to use them if you are dropping bombs.

I also don't get the question. Or is it a rhetorical question meant to suggest that 2 bombs together would be really cool?

I also agree that Adv Proton Torpedoes are worth it, but I do like Concussion Missiles. If you can get a Focus when you fire, you have 94% chance of getting 3 hits, so that's worth it to me. So, with Marksman, you get the 2 Focus and have a great chance of doing the damage. I hadn't seen this before and I like it.

Just a weird idea that struck last night is the picture of dropping a seismic token on top of a prox mine token.

Of course munitions aren't worth it but this is for friendlies not competitive use. The Deadeye and Rec Spec combo comes from a teamcovenant post by SableGryphon.

I suggest a Proton Bomb on Emon. He has a LOT of flexibility of where to drop that baby.

I'm wondering whether EU is really worth it on a PS6 ship, particularly as you will want to be spending your actions on dropping the mines.

Would Experimental Interface not be a better choice? with that and K4 you could TL, evade/focus, and drop a mine all in the same turn, giving you a good balance of attack and defense and a mine drop on top.

Of course once you've dropped all your mines EI will be useless, but I'd reckon it's worth it

I like the idea of Intelligence agent so you can know what bomb to drop, and when, if you're carrying different types.

I think the FAQ states that a ship can only drop one bomb per turn, but I could be wrong.

Still trying to decide on EU but I figure I'll want some way to be dangerous after bombs are dropped. Won't be able to react to higher PS ships but will make me less predictable at least. EU on large bases are just insane.

I know what you mean - Firesprays always feel a little naked without a boost or barrel roll action

But with Emon your first objective has got to be to get the bombs / mines dropped - anything after that is gravy

While he's loaded up there will be a great big target pointed at his head, so while he'll certainly get one or two away, he might well be dead before he drops the third. Is a 4 point upgrade that he won't get to use until after he's done what you brought him to do really worth it? or is an upgrade that maximises his chances of doing the job you intended him for before he buys the moisture farm a better bet?
