I think i know this one, but do multiple copies retain their symbols for Path of the Master?
POTM
2.14.2.4 Multiple
Multiple: X (Enhance) - E Discard up to X momentum: Place the momentum
discarded to pay for this ability face down into your card pool to the right of
the Multiple attack.
Each of the cards placed into your card pool counts as a
copy of the Multiple attack
with a blank text box and speed and damage values
equal to the printed values of the original attack. No control check is required
to play these cards, and each copy has its own Enhance Phase, Block Step, and
Damage Step. Players must go from left to right, resolving each attack in turn.
If a multiple copy would go to a player’s momentum for any reason, it is
discarded instead. If you attempt to create a “multiple copy” of a “multiple
copy,” the “copy of the copy” is discarded.

Just for clarity, yes the multiple copies retain their symbols because they're not part of the text box and therefore don't get blanked.
Otherwise you'd never be able to play anything else after a multiple attack, because you can't chain to a card that has no symbols.
If that's the case, how does playing cards work with face-down cards placed in the card pool with, for example, Know when to Talk... ?
with face down cards generated from know when to talk, they really dont have any symbols

The first part is true, the second part is not. Cards that have no symbols do not mess up your card pool. Cards that do have symbols but don't maintain the chain do mess up your card pool.
Cards with no symbols that "are not a copy of another card" don't mess up your chain. If they are a copy of another card with no symbols, they DO mess up your chain. That was the wording in the old TR, can't check the AGR right now, short on time.
I suspect that's a moot point, as to the best of my knowledge it's not possible to make a copy of a card that is a face down card with no symbols.
