As we all know, friends of higher levels need to be played progressively, a.k.a. level up. My friend and I had a question about this. If he has a level 3 Valor Form Sora on the field, is he able to play a level 4 friend or must there be a friend card on the field that is already level 3?

Player cards don't count towards the Friend Zone, this includes Forms...so you'd still have to play friends as normal.
