100 Years War-help needed

By guest367544, in Battlelore

Here in Uk 100 Years War almost impossible to find.

Typical-when you want summat-you can't have it!

Anyway, I could order the set from Germany, say 12spiel, etc and get the scenarios printed from Universal Head's Battleocom site.

But can anyone tell me what else is in the rules/booklet from the expansion?

Are there certain rules and info on movement/battle for the figures specific to the pack?

How can I get English of the cards?

Any ideas-anyone. Have sent email to FF asking if they are reprinting-await their answer

Ta David

Sorry if this is a little brief but I am typing with one hand because I had my right index finger reattached this morning after cutting it off while working at my tablesaw.

The booklet has a bit of info on each unit, but nothing that isn't already on the cards. It has five scenarios (Crecy, Poitiers, Cocherel, Patay, Epic Agincourt).

It also has a section on using the lore system in Historical Battles. Basically it says that there is no war council, just a commander. Nobody starts with any lore cards or lore. Use the Modified End of Turn rules in the Lore Adventures section on page 53 of the Player's guide. However, you can only have one lore card in hand at any time. All lore cards played are played out of character so each lore card costs 3 more lore tokens.

Only the following cards are used in the lore deck:

All warrior cards

All rogue cards except 1, 3, 7, 8, 15

Use only Wizard cards 4 and 9

Use only cleric cards 3 and 4

This is a great expansion, by the way. I love the horn blowers!!

Thank you for taking time to offer help, even with your renewed finger no doubt settling in-not too painfully I hope.

Do you know where the cards are on the web-meanwhile I will check Universal Head's site.

Thanks David

The BGG Hundred Years War page shows some of the cards

Bound to be in the 'images' section of HYW at BBG.
