Just thought of this and see if this is the case or not when Battle Savy is on.
If a unit is bold and Battle Savy, does that add a "level" of Boldness to the unit or not? I'm gathering not but just would like to make sure that is the case. And when I mean by adding a level of boldness is of course being able to negate a flag if rolled vs the unit.
Just making sure since that is the only thought that crossed my mind after reading the rules.
Don't have the expansion yet, but from what I have read, Battle Savvy simply gives the chance to Battle Back. Does not give you the option to ignore flags rolled against you.

From what I understand, you are correct. By definition, a BOLD unit is Battle Savvy, but a Battle Savvy unit is not necessarily BOLD. Adding Battle Savvy to a Bold unit would not add anything since a Bold unit may already Battle Back. But adding Bold to a Battle Savvy unit adds the ability to ignore one flag.
Battle Savvy in no way allows for ignoring flags; it does provide the other aspect of Bold, though, the ability to Battle Back. Basically it just allows those solo units you sometimes send out to still be effective when attacked--even without Support, as long as they don't flee (or get destroyed) they can Battle Back.
