Jin and his +X to CCs

Just to nip this in the bud, the question was raised on the General Forums about Jin's Form ability.

Is the X for the CC hack set when the ability is used, or does it fluxuate throughout the turn.

For example, if I have 3 Jins on the field. I form for +3 to the checks. I attack, and Enhance with Jin, discarding a character. Would my next check be at +3 or +2?

It's set when used. All variables are set upon usage in UFS.

As of v2.0, that was my understanding. And I believe Antigoth was going to add a rule in the next iteration that made this explicit for abilities (not just card values).

But I'd like to here it from Antigoth. (:
