What's the collective term for servitors? Is it a flock of servitors? A choir? A coffle? Thoughts and suggestions eagerly solicited...
A quick question on matters servitorial
Uhm "servitors", perhaps?
As in: "one servitor, several servitors."
Which means that you can pretty much use any describing term you want. "An army of servitors", "A bunch of servitors", "A gathering of servitors" etc. etc.
When a group of servitors are dedicated to a single task at hand I usually refer to them as a collective .
How many servitors does it take to screw in a light bulb?

As many as the Omnissiah requires of his most humble and quiescent followers.

Seven. One to screw it in, one to sprinkle holy oil on it, one to chant the canticle of illumination, one to autoscribe an elaborate scroll recording the event for the glory of the Omnissiah, one to hold the other end of the scroll while looking awestruck, one to hold aloft a large banner with a cog on it and another to flick the switch.
I should really have found a way to try and make that one actually funny, now I think abut it...
If you said eight, you could have had that one bowing it's head in reverence....

Bull's eye, man!
its not a question ive really thought about myself, collective sounds good if not slightly star trek!
and light bringer i managed to laugh at your post!!
Well, since servitor is essentially a servant, the collective noun for 'servant' is an 'obeisance', that might do?
Thanks, Luddite- that'll do nicely. I must admit I didn't know the collective for a group of servants. This will help with the short story I'm writing.
@Lightbringer- good one. Made me chuckle rather loudly.
