Difficulty

By Peroxis, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

I guess there are probably scattered posts about how hard different adventures have been, I don't want my PCs to be too over or under powered when they come to certain situations.
So I guess can just say:
• Which you have done
• How easy/hard it was
• How strong your group was at that point (Eg. My character did 5 sessions before Jewel of Yavin)
• And if the difficulty was adjusted

EOTE beginner game: super easy. Characters were per the rule character creation. The end was difficult as they did take a lot of damage from the tie fighters...they rolled high on init and riddled them with laser twin linked.

Ive only got to the fourth part of the Beginner game, I second that is was super easy.
When the first combat scene started I was initially worried if there would be too many enemies but then read "one enemy per PC" and chuckled. Though one PC did become critically injured unlocking the clamps (because one character decided to sneak in and then another decided to fight the security droids alone)

I did the Slimy Elbows last week; it was a terrible steamroller. There were three 200+ XP chars (bounty hunter, smuggler, tech), one 150 XP explorer and another 100 XP smuggler. They had five out of the first six initiative slots; it didn't even take them three rounds to kill everybody else of, with only minor injuries to them, although I put a third mercenary with the noble and another minion group with the Rodian. The Hutts decided to forgo the feast after that, it would've been pointless.

The Gamorreans, though, in Debts to Pay put two PCs in hospital, with one having an arm replaced. But then, the players were the ones bringing blasters to the fisticuffs.

This is good to know, as I'm running this adventure tomorrow night and my players are super powerful. Do you have any suggestions to make it more challenging?

Suggestions to make it harder? Don't explain the rules to them. :D (Only explain when they ask about something.)

Our group had a hideous time because two of the PCs didn't listen to the rules and explanations from other character's questions, and didn't let go of their pre-conceived notions about what each stage and the whole contest was about.
