I love Ebay! A couple of months ago a managed to pick up all the American and German figures and vehicles from ToI, DotF and Normandy for just £12. Just the other day I bought 2 sets of ToI tiles (24 tiles) and overlays and tokens for £5.20.

I'm now in the process of designing a suitabley big scenario. I am doing the whole of Operation Market Marden as one game. The forces include British XXX Corps which has to drive along Highway 69. The American 101st airbourne must capture the bridge at Eindhoven, the 82nd airbourne must capture the bridge at Nijmegen and the British 1st Airbourne the bridge at Arnhem. Included in the game are special rules for parachute and glider landings. The map board is over 7 feet long and 3 feet wide. I think I'll have to set it up on the floor, Iv'e only got a 6 foot table.

Having a dedicated room with a variety of tables or switchable tabletops would be great for this kind of situation. Wish I had one!!

Yes indeed. Just won the core game with the new map expansion for $50. Last month I snagged the core game and both expansions for $65 all because the seller couldnt spell his auction listing properly. So no one saw the auction

As for the room availability, I had a huge table made 5 years ago that has now come into some excellent use for this game. Best investment yet.
