Inquisitor ever described for Edge of Darkness/Illuminate/Purge the Unclean/Ashes adventure path?

By Blustar, in Dark Heresy Gamemasters

I was going to include Tattered Fates but I didn't know if that adventure continued the story arc so to speak.

Do any of these moduals ever describe the inquisitor that's directing them instead of the higher up. In , The Edge of Darkness" it's the interrogator Sand.

I'm asking because I haven't created the Inquisitor yet and was wondering if one was statted out or conceived as the "one" for any of these adventures. Like what Ordos they are from and whatever?

Does it imply one from the Callixian Conclave from the main rulebook? Which one would be a good one to use?

thanks

No, they do not explicitly say what Inquisitor is directing them, excluding the Purge the Unclean; Purge the Unclean has Inquisitor Varaak (spelling?) as far as I've been allowed to read into it. As you mentioned, with Edge of Darkness, Interrogator Sand gives them the briefing, and also Aristarchus accompanies the Acolytes in Illumination.

No, they don't specifically say- Vaarak is given as a fall-back option in Purge the Unclean in case the group in question doesn't have an existing Inquisitor to use. If memory serves, all of the pre-written adventures have a number of 'story leads' giving possible reasons why an inquisitor from each and any of the main ordos would be interested.

The House of Dust and Ash begins by having the acolytes temporarily assigned (by their 'regular' inquisitor) to serve Inquisitor Marr, so I guess there is a specific default inquisitor for that one.

You say you haven't yet written up an Inquisitor for your group, yes? As it happens, there have been a couple of threads posted up detailing various people's own Inquisitors (either the ones they are using as master over their group, or as an antagonist), although they don't generally get very far. This one contains the Inquisitor NPC I'm most proud of (acting as something of a holy terror, and a manipulating bastard to boot; with a rivalry with th Inquisitor my group is actually beholden to, along with much of the conclave). Feel free to steal him, take it as inspiration, whatever. Just let me know if you do plan on doing anything drastic with him, so I can include it in the story background of my campaign.
