The upcoming Hero expansion looks great and will be most welcome, as will the Creatures and Dragons. But it seems to me that back in the day DoW was planning to introduce Elves and some kind of Undead to the game. Both of these would be awesome. Am I misremembering or were they slated for inclusion? Any news on whether either or both of these fantasy races may make it into the new FFG line?

You are not misremembering. It was the designer, Richard Borg, who stated on these forums that those were in development, but nothing from FFG to confirm nor deny. No dates of any kind have been mentioned in terms of "race" expansions, but I expect that type of information to surface before too long.

That is cool. I remember the same thing. I think a legion of undead would be fun to play with. Add a wizard into the war council and it would be a really fun and cool game!

I would be interested to know if new races will also include new re-themed war council's and hero's?

My GUESS would be that after a few "race" expansions they would come out with a Heroes 2 expansion. Then they could put in alot of really cool and different spells and such.
